Collection: Economics, trade, public policy, international and governmental finance, government statistics, development issues, and economic situations of the countries of the world.
Access: The IMF Library is open to IMF and World Bank Group staff, spouses and retirees with valid staff identification cards. Outside visitors on the premises may visit the library when accompanied by staff.

Community Space

The IMF Library regularly hosts guest speakers and special events. Our community  space includes:

  • Large screens that can be used for presentations and other audiovisual materials
  • Capacity: 100 people

Collaboration Space

Our collaboration space is open to all employees and is great for small group meetings. This space includes:

  • A touchscreen Microsoft Surface Hub that can be used with your laptop or USB to connect and project presentations and other audiovisual materials
  • Dry erase and chalk board walls
  • Modular furniture to accommodate a variety of different meeting arrangements. 
  • Capacity: 30 people
NOTE: This room operates on a first come, first served basis. Walk-ins are welcome!

Makers Space

The Library is experimenting with next generation technologies. We have a 3D printer that staff can use to create all sorts of 3D printed objects.

  • Extra-large screen that can be used for presentations and other audiovisual materials
  • Capacity: 40 people
